Anti-Israel demonstrators yelled “settlers” and “Zionists” at residents of Boro Park, Brooklyn. The protest was organized by the Pal-Awda activist group.
The gathering was divided into three sections. The anti-Israel protesters and pro-Israel counterprotesters were situated on opposite sides of police barriers on the street, while a group of Jewish residents observed from across the sidewalk. The demonstrators directed most of their chants at the local residents, who were closer to them.
The chants included, “settlers, settlers, go back home, Palestine is ours alone,” and “Zionists, go to hell.” They also shouted, “How many kids did you kill today?” to the rhythmic sound of a snare drum, and some protesters flashed middle fingers at Jewish pedestrians. Children returning home from nearby yeshivas looked on from their school buses.
Protesters explained that their target was an event in the area promoting real estate in Israel. One protest leader, using a megaphone, declared, “There is only one solution, intifada revolution.”

I was there. It was basically loud and peaceful other than when three Arabs with their smatas on their heads walked near the Jewish counter protesters. Suddenly about a hundred chassidim jumped them in mass as one of them said something. That was the only violence I witnessed. Otherwise it was yelling back and forth. I am sure same scene will be tonight in Monsey as has happened there in the past.

You want Jews in Boro park to move to Israel. You have a weak government that is anti religious and released hundreds of Arab murdering terrrorist. With no laws in place why would any normal Boro Parker move there. Buy a second home yes but to live there all year with no real security is crazy. If murderering terrorist would get death penalty they would not be getting out again only to kill more Jews. Whatever weak laws we have in New York is still safer than Israel. We love Israel but it does not seem to change for the better till mossiach arrives or Chareidim become the majority and close every street on shabbos and outlaw pork stores and make every kid go to yeshiva.
