Israel’s Health Ministry announced that three new fatalities were recorded Thursday due to complications stemming from the coronavirus, raising the country’s death toll to eight.
The identities of the latest victims have yet to be made public.
Earlier Thursday, it was revealed that a 91-year-old woman was the sixth Israeli to die from the coronavirus after being admitted to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon.
“We share in the sorrow of the family members,” the hospital said in a statement.
