Under the direction of Rav Tzvi Berkowitz, morah d’asra of the Rockwood Park Jewish Center, a heimishe rest stop at the Center has been established. The shul is located along the Belt Parkway, at Exit 17 or 17S, Cross Bay Boulevard, one short exit from JFK Airport. The rest stop will feature parking in the shul lot, daily fresh milchige sandwiches, salads, refreshments, cholov Yisroel milk, and the use of the shul and Center for davening, learning and indoor sports activities.
This program will initially be available Sunday thru Thursday evenings, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The shul has a daily minyan for Shacharis and Mincha/Maariv, and a bais medrash fully stocked with seforim.
