Texas reported 1,293 new coronavirus cases on Shabbos, the third consecutive day that metric topped 1,000—a level not seen in three weeks. In the same three-day period, at least 115 coronavirus-related deaths were reported, according to state data.

Texas began opening up its economy on Friday at the order of Gov. Greg Abbott. As stay-at-home orders expired, some parks were magnets for the unmasked—like Danielle Meyer, who told the Austin American-Statesman that she and her friend “live really close to each other, so we’ve all just gone to each other’s houses during the whole quarantine… We have not actually been social distancing since it started.” Read more at the Texas Department of Health.

  1. If coronavirus is defined as every sickness, illness and accidents, is 1,293 in the entire state of Texas so much?

More likely than not, the “new coronavirus cases” is the amount of Invisible Enemies arrested or executed in Texas the last few days, as has been going on for a while in all states.

  2. this is the scary part about social distance that whenever you “DO OPEN ” the virus starts again.
maybe a bit of good news; BOROPARK & willy -its now 3 full weeks since erev yomtov , its no secret that beginning sunday before yomtov , people started coming out to do last minute shopping … and then yomtov with trying to be careful was even more out & about, & since yomtov even easier….YET HODU LASHEM there has not been any uptick in hospital admissions at all . in fact miamonidies emerg. room is almost half empty that they started A RENOVATON PROJECT IN THE ER.
i predict that if they were to do antibody test in bp the numbers would be close to 90% what do u think?

  3. IT TAKES AT LEAST A WEEK FOR THE OPENING TO EFFECT NEW CASES!! THIS IS STUPID REPORTING. DEMOCRATIC PANIC MONGERING.

    USE YOU BRAIN.

    • Yes, apparently it takes a number of days for people to get sick the first time they meet the virus, but there are many diseases, such as haemorragic fevers, which typically hit worse and more suddenly on following encounters. You see, the hydroxycloroquine that indeed in some cases has worked wonders, do you know what it does? It suppresses the immune system. Having had a previous encounter is not necessarily a good thing for every possible disease. For some it is, for others it isn’t. As you said, everyone use their brain.
