Yitzchok Herzog, head of the Zionist Union party, was lightly hurt today in a car crash near the Rishpon intersection north of Tel Aviv.
Writing on Twitter, Herzog said, “I’ve just been in a three-car accident on the coastal highway. I wish all those injured a speedy recovery. Drive carefully.”
Spokesman for Magen David Adom Zaki Heller said Herzog was treated at the scene and then released.
Herzog was not the driver. He was being driven by a 25-year-old man who was transported to Mayer Hospital in Kfar Saba with moderate injuries.
