Today, President Donald Trump spoke to the press, reaffirming his intention to purchase and take ownership of Gaza, while also suggesting that parts of the region could be transferred to other Middle Eastern countries as part of the reconstruction efforts.
While aboard Air Force One, the President stated that he planned to “turn Gaza into a prime location for future development.”
Trump also mentioned that he would soon meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. He expressed confidence that both leaders would agree to accept refugees from Gaza after discussing the matter with him.
Additionally, Trump assured, “I will take care of the Palestinians and ensure they are not killed. I will look into individual cases to allow Palestinian refugees to enter the US.”
The idea for the United States to take control of Gaza and oversee its rebuilding was first introduced by Trump during a White House press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week.
Although the plan has faced criticism from Arab nations, Netanyahu voiced strong support for it during a Fox News interview on Wednesday, calling it, “the first good idea that I’ve heard. It’s a remarkable idea. And I think it should be really examined, pursued and done, because I think it will create a different future for everyone.”
On Friday, Trump emphasized that he was not in a hurry to put the plan into action.
“We’re in no rush on it,” Trump told reporters at the White House, while meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. “It’s been very well received, where basically the United States would view it as a real estate transaction, where we’ll be an investor in that part of the world, and no rush to do anything,” he explained.
“We wouldn’t need anybody there. It would be supplied and given to us by Israel. They’ll watch it in terms of security. We’re not talking about boots on the ground or anything, but I think we’ll – the fact that we’re there, that we have an investment there, I think would go a long way to creating peace,” Trump added.

I think Trump should take over Israel as well and become its prime minister. He would know how to deal with its enemies better than its forever weak government. He would give the death penalty to murdering terrorists and get rid of Supreme Court lefty judges.
