The Passing of the Mirrer Mashgiach, Harav Aharon Chodosh zt”l, this week has been yet another blow to the olam haTorah, reeling from the many losses we have r”l sustained over the past few months.
Rav Aharon’s petirah has been keenly felt by the hanhala and talmidim of Yeshiva Shaarei Torah in Monsey, NY. The mashgiach maintained a close kesher with the yeshiva and would visit on his trips to the United States, delivering shmuessen with his trademark wit and warmth.
The yeshiva will be having hespedim for the Mashgiach Sunday evening, December 6, 2020, at 5:00 pm, at the Yeshiva, 91 West Carlton Road, Suffern, NY. The maspidim will be Harav Yerachmiel Halevi Chosid, Rosh Chaburah, Bais Medrash Govoha, Harav Mordechai Wolmark, Yeshiva Shaarei Torah, and Harav Asher Weiss, Yeshiva Shaarei Torah.
