Hezbollah’s Secretary General, Naim Qassem, released a recorded speech in which he addressed the ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon.
“This is not a new agreement, but rather a system that is meant to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1701,” Qassem stated.
He went on to accuse Israel of consistently breaching the resolution, asserting, “there are over 60 Israeli violations of the agreement.”
Qassem explained that Hezbollah views the agreement as part of the ongoing effort to enforce existing resolutions, not as a separate initiative.
The Hezbollah leader also highlighted that Iran would support the rebuilding of homes damaged during the conflict. “We will pay $14 thousand to each owner of a house that was destroyed in Beirut and the Dahieh, and $12 thousand to those whose houses were destroyed outside of Beirut. Those sums were supplied by Iran,” he revealed.
Additionally, Qassem touched on the renewed clashes between rebel groups and government forces in Syria, accusing the United States and Israel of being the main instigators of the unrest. “Israel and the US are behind the belligerent organizations in Syria. They have been doing this since 2011 to sow chaos across Syria so the country leaves the Axis of Resistance. Hezbollah will stand with the Syrian government as much as it can to eliminate this attack,” he declared.

It’s Israel’s fault indeed! They’re totally at fault! They should have had only one violation: one day of destroy, destroy and destroy the terrorist organization to the point no more violations will be needed.
