NY State Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) called on Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-New York) to lead the charge against Louis Farrakhan, America’s highest-profile Jew-hater, who reportedly received $364,500 in taxpaper money to preach his special brand of hatred.
Hikind said that it is outrageous that Farrakhan’s organization, the Nation of Islam, has received Justice Department grants to offer federal inmates “spiritual services” when the head of the organization’s messages are divisive, dangerous and wholly un-American.
“With Democrats about to take over the Congress, this is the ideal time for Representative Nadler, my Congressman, to show real leadership and stand up to this notorious bigot,” said Hikind. “It is beyond comprehension how we can entrust Federal funds to someone as openly hateful and destructive as Farrakhan, America’s own Goebbels. Farrakhan takes every opportunity to attack Jews, whites and gays in an effort to create an atmosphere of hatred. Congressman Nadler has an opportunity to show real leadership now and send a message that our party and our country are about inclusion, not hatred. Hatred, racism, anti-Semitism must be opposed regardless of whether it comes from the left or the right.”
Farrakhan has an untarnished record of spewing anti-Semitic and anti-gay hatred:

First of all, he isn’t right. There are many Jews in positions of power within the entertainment industry, but it’s certainly not “all” Jewish.
Second of all, blaming an entire group – whether by race, religion or gender – for the actions of a few is typical of bigots and their bigotry. Are we all guilty of Julius Rosenberg’s atomic spying for the USSR seventy years ago? Are all blacks guilty for John Allen Muhammad’s murderous beltway spree a decade ago?
Dear 9:59 Stockholm Syndrome sufferer, it’s not “Jews”, it’s hundreds of years of christian and muslim pressure to destroy Jewish religious and educational institutions, that resulted in a phenomena of secular Jews.
