Assemblyman Dov Hikind is currently in Israel on a four-day solidarity trip to give support and chizuk to Israelis as well as the thousands of Americans who are currently studying in Israel.
On Motzaei Shabbos, Hikind sponsored a melave malka–kumzitz BBQ for lone IDF soldiers through “Chayal el Chayal,” an organization founded by Ari Abramowitz and Mordy Botnick. The organization provides for the physical and spiritual needs of these soldiers, who made aliyah to Israel from all over the world, and are serving on the front lines without any family in Israel.
