The president and CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Conference resigned Tuesday from President Trump’s National Diversity Coalition after the administration said it would end an Obama-era program allowing young people brought into the country illegally as children to stay here and work without fear of deportation.

In a statement, Javier Palomarez ripped Trump’s “inhumane and economically harmful” decision to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that protects about 800,000 young people known as “Dreamers” from deportation.

“This disgraceful action goes against not only the values of this country, but also against the promise of this administration to focus homeland security resources toward individuals who have committed violent crimes and pose a threat to communities across the country,” Palomarez said. 1. “Against the values of this country” – do you mean that our Constitution is against itself? Such stupidity, blaming Trump for Congress’s failure to act and Obama’s failure to enforce.

  2. Obama’s deferment of deportation was an illegal executive order. It didn’t change the Constitution, or the laws on the books. Instead of attacking the President, who is finally enforcing the law, go and blame Obama for giving false hopes to illegals.

  3. these mexicans tink dat dis is mexico where der is no laws. Sorry mr. mexican, dis is the US we have laws here and dat inkloods you.
