Federal agencies have ramped up their investigation into a wave of unexplained drone activity that has been reported nightly across expanding areas of the Eastern Seaboard for nearly a month.
According to ABC News, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI are now utilizing drone detection systems and infrared cameras to assess whether these unidentified aerial vehicles pose any potential risks.
White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby addressed the issue on Thursday, stating that “many” of the drones appear to be ordinary and operating within legal parameters. He reassured the public by saying, “No evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or public safety threat, or have a foreign nexus.”
The drones were first reported in the skies over New Jersey on November 18, seen hovering in airspace near President-elect Donald Trump’s golf club in Bedminster and the Picatinny Arsenal military base in Wharton, NJ.
Since then, nearly 1,000 sightings have been documented in New Jersey alone. Witnesses have described the drones as flying low to the ground and, in some cases, being as large as small SUVs.
The Biden administration has faced backlash from lawmakers in New York and New Jersey, including members of both parties, for what they see as a lack of urgency in addressing the situation. Some have even suggested shooting down one of the drones to determine its origin.

The big mystery about drones being seen all over New Jersey, seems to have been solved: Photos make clear at least some of the drones are PteroDynamics XP-4 trans-wing drones, being developed for the U.S. Navy. Others are nuclear detection drones.
So why all the “hush hush?” They are , in fact, US Government Drones and they don’t want to talk about it.
