Hostages Learned Hit Song “Od Yoter Tov” While in Captivity

The four operators of surveillance posts who were part of the first hostage group released in the current deal with Hamas were filmed at the hospital in a video for their friend Agam Berger, who was freed yesterday.

In the video, the group can be seen singing Od Yoter Tov, the hit song that has surged in popularity across Israel and was played for them in Gaza.

Channel 12 News carried out an investigation and revealed that while in captivity, these hostages had been exposed to Israeli media, including both radio and television, where they first heard the song.

On the flight to the hospital, Agam’s parents shared with her that the other released hostages from last Shabbos had decided to remain at the hospital to greet her upon her arrival.

Agam Berger, who had been captured from the Nachal Oz base on October 7, was released yesterday alongside Gadi Moses, Arbel Yehud, and five Thai hostages.
