House Votes to Defund Obamacare

congressTen days before the latest government-shutdown deadline, the House of Representatives voted Friday on legislation that would both keep the government running at post-sequesteration levels and cut funding for the Affordable Care Act.

Though the measure is certain to die-either in the Democrat-led Senate or at the desk of President Obama, who has pledged to veto if it gets that far-it adds difficulty to the task of reaching a compromise on how to keep the government from shutting down before September 30. Read more at The Daily Beast.

  1. It’s a dog and pony show. If it isn’t going anywhere then why add to the gridlock. This isn’t why we voted these clowns into office. Man up and identity ways to make the policies better and more effective for the people. They are just making things worse.
