Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Houthi rebels, issued a warning on Tuesday, stating that his group would resume attacks on Israel if the ceasefire agreement with Hamas collapses.

“We are ready to begin attacks on Israel, if it returns to striking in Gaza and does not keep the ceasefire agreement,” al-Houthi cautioned.

The current ceasefire deal requires Israel to pull back from the Netzarim Corridor and permit greater humanitarian assistance into Gaza. Additionally, Israel has agreed to release imprisoned terrorists, including some serving life sentences, in exchange for Hamas freeing hostages—both civilians and soldiers—who were abducted in the brutal October 7 assault. As per the arrangement, Israel is freeing 30 terrorists for each civilian hostage and 50 terrorists for each captured soldier. However, Hamas announced on Monday that it was postponing the release of additional hostages, alleging that Israel had breached the agreement.

In his remarks, al-Houthi also declared that his faction would “stand alongside the Lebanese nation if the occupation decides to escalate [matters]. We approve the principle of support of the Palestinian nation from a military, political, and propaganda perspective.”

He further emphasized his group’s readiness to take action if fighting in Gaza resumes. “We are willing to intervene militarily in case of an Israeli escalation against Gaza,” he asserted. He also accused the Palestinian Authority of siding with Israel, stating, “The Palestinian Authority is cooperating with the Zionist enemy, even during these days, unfortunately.”

Al-Houthi went on to warn Israel against relying too heavily on support from the United States. “The Israelis must understand that it does not matter how much they count on the Americans, they will not achieve their goals if they attempt escalation. The Israeli enemy is waiting on the implementation of the second stage of the agreement. If they progress towards escalation, they will be answered fiercely and with determination from the Palestinian nation.”

  1. Trump should begin with the Houthis on Friday and if that’s not enough of an example for Hamas, he should just finish off with Hamas.

  2. we should just send all the “palestinians” to yemen!
    don’t wait for an invitation.
they will have such a good time together there!

  3. Hamas steals Jewish Hatzoloh jackets and Houtis steal Jewish tallis, like the one he’s pictured wearing. We will form our own Tali-S-ban against them.
