Mike Huckabee, President Donald Trump’s nominee for U.S. ambassador to Israel, issued a stern warning to Hamas terrorists in Gaza, cautioning them not to underestimate either President Trump or Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. Speaking on Newsmax, Huckabee emphasized that Trump does not make “empty promises.”
Huckabee appeared on “Rob Schmitt Tonight” to discuss Trump’s strong ultimatum to Hamas earlier in the week, demanding the release of all hostages by noon on Saturday or face severe consequences. While Hamas has agreed to release three hostages, Huckabee stressed that Hamas should not take the two leaders lightly. “And I would warn Hamas: Don’t take either one of them to be chumps. They’re not. And especially President Trump,” Huckabee stated.
Huckabee continued, “This is a person who has proven over the last several weeks now that he’s been president, he keeps his promises … and when he says noon Saturday or there’ll be hell to pay, I don’t know what hell looks like to the people of Hamas, but they’re going to find out because Donald Trump doesn’t make empty promises.”
Trump made it clear on Monday that he expects all hostages to be released, stating, “not in drips and drabs.” While 76 hostages remain, Israel has determined that 34 of them are already deceased.
In response to questions about what might happen if the hostages are not released by Trump’s deadline, Huckabee remarked, “It’s a very difficult situation for both Israel and the United States.” He also expressed frustration that, under President Joe Biden’s administration, more pressure was put on Israel to agree to a ceasefire than on Hamas to release hostages. “They never issued an ultimatum,” Huckabee noted.
Meanwhile, Huckabee underscored that Trump has made it abundantly clear that he would not sit idly by while Hamas continues its actions. “And I think that’s something the whole world — and especially the leaders of the Middle East — now understand about Donald Trump: He does not want innocent people to be killed. He’s for seeing peace in the region and the rest of the world,” Huckabee explained.
Huckabee also added that peace cannot be achieved by yielding to Hamas, describing them as “thugs, savages, barbarians.” “You cannot deal with them, cannot trust them. They’ve proven themselves to be unworthy of a conversation.”
Finally, Huckabee concluded, “The only thing that they really are understanding is brute force. And that’s what I think they’re going to end up getting.”

All I see is that Hamas has been calling the shots – picking the hostages, staging these awful ceremonies, getting Israel to withdraw from more and more of Gaza. No evidence of any “hell to pay.” Could someone explain how they aren’t playing the US and Israel for chumps?
US and Israel are acting big for the crowd…acting on par with Hamaistan ruled Gaza. to release the captured.
Big talk on the airwaves does not translate to conquest on the ground. Thus the desire of the feeble ones to negotiate with those who can’t even keep their own religious ideals of Islam against murdering woman and children. They (Hamas) are not to be given aid nor comfort…but that is what Israel does, AND they ( Israel just traded OVER 100 to 1…back to the bad days of BEGIN a ( Etc. Etc.) where the lopsided trades put a price on our heads.
The Huckster needs to be clear…P.M. “N” is the ultimate Chump who folds so France wont arrest him when he goes to Europe. The Chumps can’t get past 8 KM in Lebanon. The Chumps have not stopped Hamas from Ruling Gaza. The Chumps give in to protesters. The Cumps refused to protect their subjects, forbade most of them from Protecting themselves, and let Hamas attack by ignoring many warnings…just like they did 1993-2005.
