In the aftermath of Monday morning’s deadly attack at the Ramot Junction in Yerushalayim, where six people were murdered, two terrorists were eliminated by a soldier from the Chashmonayim Brigade together with a chareidi avreich who was armed and present at the scene. The soldier has now described the intense moments of the confrontation and his immediate actions afterwards.
The shooting took place around 10:10 a.m., when two terrorists from the villages of Qatanna and al-Qubeiba opened fire on commuters waiting at the bus stop. Within moments, the soldier and the avreich engaged the attackers and killed them, preventing further loss of life.
The platoon commander recalled the encounter in an interview with N12: “I told him, ‘Let me, I have a long weapon.’ I identified two terrorists and opened fire on them until I saw them fall. Then we advanced slightly in line, and I kept shooting until I saw they stopped moving. From there I disengaged and began treating the wounded.”
The soldier said he quickly applied tourniquets to two injured women at the scene. Once security and medical teams arrived, he returned to where he had downed the terrorists. “I approached the police and told them, ‘Hello, I’m the one who neutralized them,’” he recounted. He was then taken to give official testimony about the sequence of events.
The heroism of the soldier and the armed avreich is credited with preventing an even greater tragedy at the already blood-soaked scene.

But remember families of the hostages it’s important to get them released at all costs no matter how many more murderers you have to let out who will come back and kill more people. The only thing that matters is that you not have to deal with your suffering hostages anymore. of course, everybody empathises but if getting them released is gonna cause more people to die do you really have the right to make that demand?
Yashar koach to these young men.
This also displayed enormous siyata d’Shmaya.
For 2 young men – total strangers to each other – to spontaneously and successfully coordinate in the middle of a surprise attack can only occur through siyata d’Shmaya.
Other attacks which included defenders with the same heroic intentions as these two ended with a “friendly fire” wound or casualty.
May Hashem comfort the mourners of the victims and may everyone have a refuah shlaima.
And the world wants us to live side by side with these terrorists. Send them all out of Israel to the countries who are protesting against Israel.
No, that is the premise of the Oslo Accords, which the Zionists themselves proudly signed.
