Several hours after a rocket that was fired from Gaza exploded in an open area in the Gaza Envelope, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) responded by attacking two targets in the Gaza Strip.
Media outlets in Gaza reported several injuries as a result of the attack.
The IDF reported that IAF aircrafts hit two terror infrastructures belonging to the Hamas terror organization in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
“The IDF will continue to respond severely to any attempt to upset the peace in southern Israel towns,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit announced. “The IDF sees the Hamas terror organization as responsible for all terror attacks coming out of the Gaza Strip.”
Monday evening, in the area of the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council, a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli territory. The rocket exploded in an open area in the Sdot Negev Regional Council and no injury or damage were caused. No terror organization has taken responsibility for the shooting thus far. Jerusalem Online
