The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee convened once again today to discuss the chareidi draft law, focusing on the possibility of using financial incentives to promote enlistment among yeshiva students. The committee is exploring ways to encourage greater participation in the IDF from this sector.
Avigdor Dikstein, who heads the IDF’s Chareidi Division within the Manpower Directorate, addressed the committee last week regarding plans to distribute an additional 14,000 draft notices.
According to the timeline presented during the session, the military intends to issue 5,000 draft notices this Thursday, followed by another 4,000 in approximately two weeks, and an additional 5,000 at the beginning of May.
Despite these efforts, Dikstein indicated that, based on current projections, the IDF is unlikely to achieve its recruitment goals.

Even 1 Yeshiva bochur joining this secular G-dless army is too much and should be fiercely fought against.
