The Kfir Brigade remains deeply engaged in its mission in the northern Gaza region near Beit Lahia, operating under the leadership of the 162nd Division.
Working in conjunction with engineering units, soldiers from the Yahalom Unit have successfully located and neutralized three tunnel networks. These underground passages extend roughly 7.5 kilometers and reach depths of several dozen meters.
During their inspection of one of the tunnels, they uncovered Israeli military equipment that Hamas operatives had seized on October 7th. The find also included maps detailing nearby Israeli towns, a cache of weapons, and quarters designed for habitation.
For over two months, the Kfir Brigade has been intensively working to uncover and secure hidden weaponry, dismantle terrorist installations on the surface and underground, engage in close-combat encounters with terrorists, and conduct targeted airstrikes on military sites in Beit Lahia.
