The Israeli Defense Forces said that at least three projectiles fired by Palestinian militants were launched into Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening.
Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted the projectiles in midair, with no reports of damage to property or injuries from the shrapnel.
The rocket sirens were triggered in the border community of Sderot, where medics said a 10-year-old girl, 47-year-old woman and 27-year-old man sustained light injuries while seeking safety in nearby bomb shelters.
