An Israeli officer was stabbed by a Palestinian terrorist at the entrance to Efrat, south of Yerushalayim, at about 6 a.m. today.
The officer, a reservist, was said to be in moderate condition and was taken to the hospital.
The attacker, Baha a-Din Muhammad Khalil, is believed to have been hiding in bushes and then jumped out and stabbed the 30-year-old soldier, who was treated by Magen David Adom and taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem.
