The IDF announced this evening that IDF Staff Sergeant Boris Dunavetski lost his life in combat in northern Gaza.
Aged 21 and hailing from Kiryat Bialik, Dunavetski served in Battalion 46 of the Armored Corps’ 401st Brigade. He was killed during a battle in northern Gaza on December 17, 2023.
Posthumously, Dunavetski received a promotion from sergeant to staff sergeant.
The IDF expressed condolences, stating, “The IDF shares in the sorrow of the family, and will continue to support them.”
