A group of Iran sanctions monitors allege in a confidential report that a rocket tested in the country in October is in violation of a United Nations Security Council resolution.
The rocket had the capability of carrying a nuclear warhead, according to the Panel of Experts on Iran.
The White House did not rule out placing additional sanctions on Iran given this new information, which was circulated in recent days. Read more.
