A day earlier, officials said the missile would be tested “soon” after unveiling it at a military parade in Tehran attended by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. Rouhani vowed to boost the country’s military power and continue with its missile activities “as a deterrent” after President Trump slammed Iran’s missile program at the United Nations earlier in the week.
