Iran will withdraw from the 2015 nuclear deal if there is no economic benefit and major banks continue to shun the Islamic Republic, its deputy foreign minister said on Thursday.

Under the deal with Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States, Iran agreed to restrict its nuclear program in return for the removal of sanctions that had crippled its economy.

Despite that, big banks have continued to stay away for fear of falling foul of remaining US sanctions — something that has hampered Iran’s efforts to rebuild foreign trade and lure investment.

  1. Pure blackmail, which isn’t uncommon in politics, in general, and with Muslim countries, in particular.
The Islamic Republic should turn to the Clinton Foundation for funding its projects, with their great friend and defender, the “other” black male, as a guarantor.

  2. America aught to be ashamed of themselves. How dare they pressure such a peace loving democratic Country! I’ve spoken to Cory Booker and Kristen Gillibrand and they immediately agreed to send off another $4 billion dollars in cash from the hardworking taxpayers of the United States. I’ve also spoken to Susan Rice and she told me she’s very concerned about backlash against Iranian Americans. This blatant racism by the evil Republican party has got to stop. I call on President Trump to do the right thing and resign!
