Israeli authorities believe that despite intense diplomatic efforts to dissuade Iran, Tehran is determined to launch an attack on Israel, potentially even more severe than the one in April, Kan News reported on Sunday.

The report also noted that Israel’s defense establishment recognizes that Iran has recommitted to its earlier threats following the elimination of Ismail Haniyeh.

Regarding Hezbollah, sources within the terrorist organization conveyed to diplomatic contacts that they are resolved to carry out an attack but do not wish to escalate the conflict further.

On Sunday, an Iranian delegation arrived in Russia for a series of discussions.

A source familiar with the situation indicated that one reason for the delay in Iran’s attack is Tehran’s desire to address the security lapses that led to Haniyeh’s death.

The source also pointed out that other factors have contributed to the postponement of the attack, including the presence of U.S. forces in the region.

In response to the report, the IDF Spokesperson clarified: “Following reports regarding Iran’s plans, we clarify that at the moment there are no changes to the Home Front Command guidelines. If there is a change to the guidelines, we will update with an orderly announcement through the official channels.”

  1. This in of itself is terror. It is intended to terrorize people. And the world is a-ok with it. Both Russia and Iran are members of the Untied Nations and these two bullies alongside their proxies can do as they please but Netanyahu is under arrest in the UN court of kangaroos.
