A wave of excitement has swept through the Torah world following the discovery of a remarkable passage in a centuries-old sefer that appears to allude to current events in the Strait of Hormuz, potentially linking them to the war of Gog uMagog.

Sunday morning, Rav Moshe Chaim Schneider, a close talmid and confidant of the tzaddik Rav Dov Kook of Tiveria, visited the home of his rebbi. Rav Schneider, editor of the Torah bulletin Sifsei Kohen, presented Rav Kook with a rare manuscript excerpt from the sefer Kli Paz, authored over 500 years ago by the renowned mekubal Rav Shmuel Laniado, also known as the Ba’al HaKelim for his series of works, including Kli Paz, Kli Chemdah, and Kli Yakar.

Rav Shmuel Laniado, who lived in Aram Tzovah (modern-day Aleppo, Syria), penned a comprehensive commentary on Sefer Yeshayah. The original manuscript was printed posthumously in Venice nearly four centuries ago and became known as Kli Paz.

The passage Rav Schneider shared with Rav Kook generated tremendous excitement due to its astonishing relevance to recent geopolitical developments. In his commentary on the verse “Ki zevach laHashem b’Botzrah” (Yeshayah 34:6), Rav Laniado writes chilling words: “There is a country far from Bavel called Botzrah, situated between the border of Ashur and Paras and the border of the land of Edom—‘Hormuz.’ It is currently under the control of the Yishmaelim, and blessed is He who knows the truth of these matters. Perhaps the war of the End of Days will pass through there.”

These words have taken on dramatic new significance in light of the current tensions surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, a vital maritime artery that links Iran to global trade and military interests. As has been widely reported, Iran has recently threatened to attack any American vessel attempting to pass through the strait. The Kli Paz‘s identification of Hormuz as a potential flashpoint for the war of Acharis HaYamim raises chilling implications, potentially casting modern-day conflicts in the region in a prophetic light.

Upon being shown the passage by Rav Schneider, Rav Kook was visibly moved. Turning to his talmid, he said, “Fortunate are you to have merited such a revelation—one that may awaken thousands of Jews to teshuvah. The merit of publicizing it is immense.”

    • There are times of עת רצון for Geula and this could be one of them. Retract your words, this was written by a great rabbi.

      • Keep tooting your horn, Harry. The point wasn’t the passage, the point was this article dramatizing the article about the “chilling implications” yada yada yada. I find missiles falling in EY far more chilling. Soldiers in danger on the front lines more terrifying.
Many are the gedolim who frown on these “prophecies” because when they fail to pan out, people lose their emuna. Most famous is the story with Rav Yaakov zt”l brought in Bimchitzasam.

  1. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING

We all know the famous and honest truth of the fact that “There’s no such thing as coincidence ” and that every situation-from personal situations to public worldwide tragedies Chas VShalom-all have a SHOCKING MESSAGE DIRECTLY FROM HASHEM (not to be found in any sefer in the world or heard from any Gadol Hador speaking in a shiur or Shmuz or read in any newspaper and neither is it from me a internet writer businessman but actually DIRECTLY FROM HASHEM)

Below is a SHOCKING MESSAGE from Thousands of Years ago that recame back alive many times in the last generation sadly as we always need wake-up calls from Hashem our loving father.

    THE MESSAGE
the wise king Shlomo Hamelech (Solomon) relates in Koheles (Proverbs), there is a time & place for everything & then lists over 25 instances, from a time to be born to a time to die & then from a time to be rich & vice versa etc…. he then continues & reaches the passuk relating the instance “for a time of Calamity comes to them all”. Do you know which Pasuk this is in Koheles? It is the Passuk of 9-11 (the 9th Chapter & 11th sentence), relating to Tisha B’av. The day set aside by Hashem to be a day of mourning. Is this coincidence? Is this not shocking? Look at the list of so many calamities & tragedies that has occurred in the past relating to 9-11. (from the ones which I have already mentioned to some which I may mention soon) How many thousands of years ago was the book of Koheles written? Who made it come out to be this Passuk of 9-11? was it Shlomo Hamelech or was it Hashem? This is another message from Hashem for us to stop our way of life we are living in today’s generation….-Which we think is perfect & Sinless-immediately & start doing Teshuva

May we finally accept Hashem’s wake up call message for serious Teshuva and Achdus together as one loving nation so Hashem can finally send mashiach already bkarov
