isisISIS forces in Deir Ezzor, Syria have issued 11 rules to journalists who want to report from the region (and, presumably, not be abducted and killed).

“A meeting was held between independent journalists and the ISIS media staff to state how [journalistic] work will be conducted after ISIS gained control,” said a journalist in the region named Amer. Unsurprisingly, the rules are incredibly restrictive. First, they must swear allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, self-proclaimed Caliph.

Among the other rules: Reporters can work directly with international news agencies like AP or Reuters but are to avoid all international and local satellite TV channels. Finally, the “rules are not final and are subject to change at any time.” Read more at Syria Deeply.
