Dozens of protesters gathered in Israel’s religious town of Bnei Brak on Shabbos to demonstrate against newly offered bus services available on Shabbos.
Protesters attempted to block the main Jabotinsky Road connecting the cities of Ramat Gan and Petah Tikva, and some clashed with police, according to The Times of Israel.
The police said that 16 demonstrators were arrested for public disorder and assaulting policemen during protests Friday and Shabbos.
