Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as well as Israel Police and Shin Bet launched a full-scale manhunt over the weekend in an attempt to catch the culprits who set off a bomb that killed Rina Shnerb and injured her father and brother.
Three Palestinians were arrested during raids early Saturday, though their connection to the attack was known, as the IDF continued its search, seizing a number of surveillance cameras in the area.
“We are in the midst of a pursuit being led by IDF, [Shin Bet] and Israeli Police forces and are coordinating a wide-ranging operational intelligence effort to locate the perpetrators of this grave and murderous attack,” Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi said in an official statement released by the IDF the previous evening.
“I am confident in our ability to quickly locate the perpetrators and continue to provide a high quality security solution for civilians living in Judea and Samaria,” he added.
