Israeli warplanes carried out an air strike in southern Gaza late Saturday after four Palestinians infiltrated into Israel earlier in the day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.
“A short while ago, IAF fighter jets struck military targets in a compound belonging to the Hamas terror organization in the southern Gaza Strip,” a military statement said.
Around mid-afternoon local time, the army said it had fired at four Palestinians who crossed into Israel from Gaza and hurled incendiary objects at Israeli troops. The army said they fled back into the enclave after soldiers opened fire
