Israel has identified the vessel behind the recent massive oil spill that resulted in tar pollution along much of the country’s Mediterranean coastline, Environment Protection Minister Gila Gamliel said on Wednesday.
“We got our hands on the criminal ship,” she said in a tweet.
“Our long arm will reach all those that cause damage to our nature, the sea and our beaches,” the minister added, offering no further details.
