Israel’s Deputy Health Ministry head Prof Itamar Grotto has admitted that the high number of people in the country requiring hopitalization is a cause for concern.
During Sunday’s meeting of the Knesset (Israel Parliament) coronavirus committee he remarked that he was worried about the overload of patients in Israel’s hospitals.
He cautioned that even an entire lockdown of the country may not prove adequate, as the virus has at least a two-week incubation period.
