The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip late on Tuesday after a rocket was fired at Israel’s south, the army said in a statement.
“IDF fighter jets and attack helicopter struck Hamas terrorist infrastructure in the southern part of Gaza,” the military said.
“The attack was carried out in response to a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory earlier tonight,” the statement added.
