Explosive balloons were discovered in an agricultural area of the Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel, Israeli authorities confirmed on Monday.
An Israeli explosives unit arrived at the scene and neutralized the explosive attached to the balloons before it could cause any damage.
The incident comes just a month after a series of explosive balloons were launched from the Gaza Strip into Israel after Palestinian militants threatened to “unleash hell” for Israelis living near the coastal enclave.
