After several days of a steady climb in numbers of infections across the country, Israel’s Health Ministry reported Monday 114 new coronavirus cases, a decrease in the daily figures.
Forty-six COVID-19 patients are in serious condition and 23 are ventilated. Israel’s death toll stands currently at 302, with a total of 19,122 infections since the beginning of the official outbreak in March.
As of Monday, 16,305 people are in self-isolation, 132 are hospitalized, 393 are isolated in the so-called Coronavirus Hotels, and 2,272 mild or asymptomatic individuals remain at home, according to Hebrew-language outlet Maariv.
