The Israeli government is expected to delay once more the resuming operations of Israel Railways, Hebrew-language outlet N12 reported on Sunday.
The postponement follows outgoing Health Ministry Director General Moshe Bar Siman Tov’s warning of a possible second wave of the novel coronavirus amid the increase in scope of morbidity.
The Health Ministry reported Sunday 81 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. However, on Saturday, the ministry reported 160 positive cases across the country, the largest number yet identified in one day since the lifting of the lockdowns.
