Israel’s new Ramon International Airport in the Timna Valley near Eilat will have a record 85-foot high and 2.8-mile-long steel wall to protect against missiles from nearby Jordan. It will also have closed-circuit cameras and radar as well as a 21-mile-long outer fence to keep out infiltrators from Jordan.
The billion dollar airport due to be completed next year will handle two million passengers annually.
The airport is named after the first Israeli astronaut, Ilan Ramon who died in the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia explosion, and his son Assaf Ramon who died six years later in an air force training accident.

I actually am a rocket scientist. An 85 foot high fens will not protect the airport from missiles launched from Jordan.
I guess they didn’t teach you how to spell fence in rocket science school:)
