The “intelligence” may have missed it but the soldiers whose job it was to observe caught it and passed it on, but even as the seriousness of the enemies’ activities ramped up, the “intelligence” told them to stop or they’ll be court martialed. Ditto the private observer from Netivot and other sensible people who saw the pattern and recognized it as typical arab behaviour, their increasing boldness and crossing of “red lines” without IDF response – which inevitably led to more serious attacks.

This was absolutely not some “accidental” “intelligence lapse”!! Instead, it was the deliberate act of the Israel government and its IDF to allow the evil Hamas hordes, Yimach Shemam V’Zichram, to freely Enter Eretz Yisroel and do what they did. We desperately need to realize the extremely grave seriousness of this, for it brought on us of Am Yisroel very many exceedingly severe calamities. First, it brought the horrific bloodbath & cruel abduction of over 1,400 people on the Simchas Torah – October 7 day itself. This extremely severe crime is not only on the hands of the evil Hamas, Yimach Shemam V’Zichram, but also on the hands of the evil Israel Government.

Then, probably even worse, has been the resulting endless war in which almost another 2,000 Israel soldiers & civilians have been killed and many, many thousands more injured and forced out of their homes. (Boruch Hashem, there is now a Hezbollah cease-fire; we must certainly be Mispallel that it properly holds.)

Probably the most terrible calamity has been that in this very long war, more and more vehement accusations of severe crimes have been hurled against us claiming that, in numerous fiendish ways, we are trying to starve and genocide the whole Palestinian people.

It does not matter that these are gross exaggerations & huge distortions & outright lies — THIS IS WHAT IS BEING SAID!!!!!!!!!!

There has thus been excessively sharp rises in Sinas Yisroel throughout the world, with Jewish students at prestigious universities unable to walk to their classes and Jewish athletes attacked at major sports events and Jewish news reporters in Canada arrested at a Pro-Palestinian rally and Jews being outright killed and countless others being in outright fear for their very lives!!

ALL OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN EASILY AVOIDED IF THE ISRAEL GOVERNMENT & IDF (instead of allowing the attack) WOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY THWARTED & REPELLED THE ATTACK!!

One of the most vocal genocide accusation news pundits is someone who, before October 7, 2023, almost never spoke about Israel, as his broadcasts on completely different topics. When, on Monday, October 9, he related the October 7 massacre, he was actually supportive of Israel. Even when he related that Israel’s government had allowed the attack, he was not “mad” at them, for he pointed out that our country of the United States had done exactly the same thing!!

(However, as the war went on and on, his views totally changed.)

Where had the US done exactly the same thing? B’Ezras Hashem, some history is needed:

In early 1933, the Nazi “National Socialist German Workers’ Party” took over Germany’s government, making their leader, Adolf Hitler, Yimach Shemo V’Zichro, absolute dictator. They immediately implemented excessively extreme Sinas Yisroel along with extremely massive military buildup. “Guns, not butter!!” & “Today we rule Germany, tomorrow the world!!” were their mottos.

In the horrific horrors of Kristallnacht in November, 1938, they glaringly showed what were their plans of Sinas Yisroel.

In 1938 & 1939, they annexed Austria and Czechoslovakia. In September, 1939, they unleashed full war & occupation on Poland and soon followed with massive invasions & occupations of many northern & western Europe countries. As endless lines of their modern tanks & vehicles crashed through the Ardennes Mountains into the French countryside, it was bluntly an “avalanche of steel.”

Upon these brilliant victories and Hitler gazing across the English Channel, their Luftwaffe launched a massive air assault on England and came very close to wiping the country off the map, Rachmana Litzlan.

With their ally Italy, they invaded & occupied many countries of South-East Europe & North Africa. With most of Continental Europe under them, they invaded Communist Russia/Soviet Union on an extensive 1,000 mile wide front, with, INITIALLY, extremely brilliant success.

We of Am Yisroel excruciatingly painfully experienced that wherever they went, there was the extreme of the extreme of the epitome of Churban — infinitely more than anything before. Their focus was at us of Am Yisroel, with pure evil intent of genocide & extermination, Rachmana Litzlan. While their FOCUS was at us though, they also glared at countless others whom they viewed as “inferior” & “slaves” and had no hesitation at all at killing anyone who resisted or whom they disliked.

Therefore, it is not surprising that estimates of NON-JEWS killed in Nazi blood machines FAR DWARF the six million (and according-to-some-estimates eight million) number of us of Am Yisroel who were killed. One website puts the estimated number of Non-Jews killed at a staggering TWENTY-THREE million!!

It was glaringly obvious that the continued march of the extremely powerful Nazi jackboot would have meant, Rachmana Litzlan, massive Churban of Klall Yisroel and even more of the whole world. And it was further obvious that non-Nazi countries of Europe had nowhere near any means to stop it.

The emerging large strong New World nation of the United States DID though, have the potential to be able to stand up to the fight. However, almost the entire country was strongly in the attitude of “Isolationism,” which was an extremely cold callous indifference to non-US world problems. “War in Europe???” “Let Europe boil in its own stew!!”

Yet, this was a war that HAD to be fought; US Government officials realizing this thus sarcastically murmured a little rhyme:

“THE ONLY WAY THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO GET INTO THIS WAR, WILL BE THROUGH THE BACK DOOR!!”

What is meant by the “Back Door” as opposed to the “Front Door”? Understandably, Europe, which was location of the most advanced civilizations, could be thought of as “front” of the world, while the other side, the Orient, whose civilizations were not as advanced, could be thought of as “back” of the world.

While Europe was being torn up by German-Nazi armies, in the Orient too, the nation of Japan, which was then just as advanced as any European power, was on a campaign of conquering vast territories. In 1931, they invaded & occupied north-eastern China called “Manchuria”; in 1937, they moved south into China itself, controlling the Chinese Pacific coast, and then moved even further south into the Vietnam area.

All this was vehemently opposed by the United States, who slapped on Japan many stifling sanctions & embargos, which blocked them from oil. In response, in September, 1940, Japan signed an alliance with Nazi Germany and Italy called the “Tripartite Pact” and in late 1941, sent a large naval force to massively attack the home port of the US’s Pacific Fleet. This was located at a fresh water inlet near Hawaii’s capital city of Honolulu called “Pearl Harbor.”

The US Government VERY WELL knew about this planned attack. First of all, they had cracked into Japanese communication codes, so they were able to listen to & understand secret Japanese transmissions. They further received NUMEROUS WARNINGS from many sources, including a double agent. The Germans — who thought of him as one of THEIR spies and did not know he worked for both them and the Allies — asked him to get information about Pearl Harbor. Seeing that information was wanted about Pearl Harbor, he correctly realized that an attack was being planned there. When in the US, he went to the director of the FBI, John Edgar Hoover, to try to warn him, but Mr. Hoover rebuffed him.

Not only did the US Government not try to stop the attack, they tried to very greatly facilitate it. They kept their foreknowledge of it completely secret, which included that they DID NOT WARN commanders of the base about any danger. In this way, when the attack would come, it would catch everyone in complete surprise and totally unprepared. Furthermore, they issued strict orders for the battleships to be tightly placed next to each other (and easier to bomb) and for the fighter planes to be tightly parked facing each other — positions that made it severely difficult for them to take off. In this way, when the attack would come and airmen would want to get their planes up to fight the enemy, many crucial minutes would be lost in getting out of their difficult takeoff positions.

The attack came early on Sunday morning of December 7, 1941. It was an absolute perfect time to launch a surprise attack; Sunday is the Christian weekly holy day and thus the weekly “day off.” Furthermore, being the end of the week, many people like “Saturday Night” to relax and go to bars and parties and even get a little “drunk”! So early on a Sunday morning, they are sleeping off alcohol and in no shape to be able to fight an enemy attack.

While a number of soldiers, very, very heroically, did manage to get up and get their planes in the air to battle the enemy, the masses of Japanese planes came in largely unopposed. In less than two hours, coming in two waves, they poured down massive destruction. Two of the battleships were completely sunk; on one of them, the USS Arizona, 1,177 crewmen were at that moment trapped and killed. On the water surface of that location, the USS Arizona Memorial was erected, forming the core of the Pearl Harbor National Memorial complex. All of the other battleships were badly damaged along with many other navel vessels, over 300 airplanes, and many docks and airfields.

Of course, worst of all, a total of nearly TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND PEOPLE (2,403 is the exact official figure), Hashem Yinakem Damam, were brutally massacred and another 1,173 more badly injured.

The next day, December 8, an emergency Joint Session of the US Congress was held, at which the then President of the United States, Franklin Delano Roosevelt delivered a dramatic but brief about eight-minute address. He related the Pearl Harbor attack and many more subsequent attacks Japan launched at many British & American holdings in the Pacific region. He claimed that for a long time, at Japan’s own request, the US Government had engaged in ongoing talks with their ambassador & his assistant to try to achieve a peaceful resolution of tensions — all while they were really planning & preparing & implementing outright violence against us. He thus portrayed “THE JAP” as a fiendish monster who, with a wide smile as your “good friend,” puts his arm around you in a big hug, but then with the hand of that arm, rams a huge sharp knife into your back!!

President Roosevelt thus began his speech with what became one of THE most famous lines of human history: “December 7, 1941, a day which will live in infamy” and concluded with the request to Congress that (even though it was now already December 8) the declaration of war should RETROACTIVELY — (like, L’Havdil, we say in our Sacred study of our Sacred Gemara: “Chal L’Mafraya”) — be from the time of “the unprovoked and dastardly attack by Japan on Sunday, December 7, 1941.”

The — Chal L’Mafraya/Retroactive — “DECLARATION OF UNPROVOKED WAR” on Japan was quickly passed by the Congress in an astounding unanimous-minus-one vote and soon signed by the president less than three hours later.

The plan to “get into the war through the back door” had brilliantly worked, way beyond what could have been anyone’s expectations.

So, all the countless history textbooks & pictorial compilations & other sources give December 7, 1941, as THE day the United States entered World War II. At least one source, conveying how they had wanted to keep out of the conflict, but were suddenly kicked in the back, and also projecting a scene of exploding Pearl Harbor ships falling into the water below, stated it as the day the United States was PLUNGED into World War II.

So, yes, yes, yes, on December 7 (and certainly on December 8), they were IN the war, as they HAD gotten in through the back door. However, this was only on JAPAN. In other words, they had entered through the back door, but that is where they were; they still had to get to the FRONT door.

Boruch Hashem though, this turned out to be not difficult. As related above, over a year before, on September 27, 1940, in the capital city of Berlin, with Adolf Hitler, Yimach Shemo V’Zichro, himself overlooking, representatives of Japan and Germany and Italy, signed a military alliance called the “Tripartite Pact.”

However, the terms were that if any one of the three would BE ATTACKED BY someone else, the other two would come to its defense. As Japan though, was now going to MAKE THE ATTACK ON the United States, its ambassador requested of the Nazi government their assistance in that case too. The Nazi officials, in the name of Hitler himself, soundly assured him that, of course, in that case too, they would fully support Japan & join the fight against the United States. This key “update” was officially put in writing on December 2, 1941, mere days before Japanese planes flew into Pearl Harbor.

Upon hearing the news of Pearl Harbor, Hitler was literally euphoric as he excitedly exclaimed that this war was now as good as won, for the Japanese were fantastic fighters who had not lost a war in 3,000 years!! He thus quickly decided to join Japan against the United States but just had to prepare the announcement. He delivered it in an almost hour and a half long speech to the Reichstag on December 11. Shortly before that, Italy’s dictator, Benito Mussolini, made his brief four minute announcement from a balcony at his headquarters to a huge crowd below.

This time, there was no need for the president to physically come to the Capitol to deliver another address to a Joint Session of Congress. Instead, he merely sent a brief message to them, in which he related Germany & Italy’s actions and thus remarked: “The long known and the long expected has thus taken place. The forces endeavoring to enslave the entire world now are moving toward this hemisphere. Never before has there been a greater challenge to life, liberty, and civilization.” He thus requested Congress to “recognize a state of war” with Germany & Italy. The two war declaration votes were unanimous, as the one congresswoman who had voted against the Japan declaration, this time merely abstained.

So the plan “to get into the war through the back door” had worked perfectly, with getting into both the back door AND the front door. The attitude of isolationism was almost completely gone; instead, it was replaced with a fierce determination to fight the war, to win the war, and, especially with Japan, to exact extremely severe revenge.

The GIGANTIC question that needs to be asked is “Was President Roosevelt & his officials correct in what they did?????” “Were they morally right in what they did?????” “Were they MORALLY RIGHT according to our Torah HaK’dosha of the Sheva Mitzvos B’nei Noach in what they did?????” In what they did of deliberately manipulating the Pearl Harbor Naval Base so that the attack would be so exceedingly more severe killing close to two and a half thousand American people????? In what they did of deliberately lying to the country and to the world and to the annals of history of this being an “unprovoked” “surprise attack”?????

The one Congress member who had voted against the Japan declaration, “Miss. Jeannette Pickering Rankin” (1880 – 1973) was a Republican woman representative from Montana. Twenty-four years earlier, she had voted against the Germany declaration, which had entered the United States into World War I. She was an extremely, extremely, extremely strong pacifist who simply DID NOT believe in war — period!! She made blunt statements like: “It’s a wrong method of trying to settle a dispute” and “Killing more people won’t solve anything.” Regarding this situation with Japan & the “unprovoked” attack, she further sharply retorted that this most absolutely was a “PROVOKED” attack!!

This was pointed out by other people too, including the Director of the FBI, John Edgar Hoover. Upon Pearl Harbor, referring to the stiff embargos we had put on Japan, he explained that if you take a RATTLESNAKE and hold it and make it feel a lot of pain with sticking a lot of SHARP NEEDLES into its head, that monster IS going to bite!!

At the same time though, the question needs to be asked the other way: IF President Roosevelt & his guys had NOT done what they did, if, instead they would have SENT THE PEARL HARBOR base commanders full alarm danger warnings and the base commanders would have thus ordered their fighter piolets into the air for active defense who would have thus brilliantly thwarted the attack, or, even better, when the Japanese piolets were flying in toward Hawaii, they saw in front of them flying around above the islands a THICK RING of US fighter planes, and seeing that they were being blocked they would have simply turned around and flown back to the aircraft carrier ships which had brought them and the ship captains, now informed that there was opposition, would have simply turned their ships around and sailed back to Japan and there would not have been any attack and there would not have been any declarations of war and the US would not have entered World War II, if, instead of what DID happen, THIS is what would have happened,
TODAY, EIGHTY-FOUR YEARS LATER IN 2025, WOULD ANY OF US EVEN BE ALIVE TO TALK ABOUT IT???????

For as is extensively related above, the evil sharp jackboot of the German-Nazi war machine had already conquered most of the countries of Europe and northern Africa as its massive “avalanche of steel” of endless lines of its strong well built modern tanks & armored vehicles was virtually unstoppable. Furthermore, Hitler was continually ordering his top scientists & engineers to research & develop more and more extremely advanced weapons. They already started producing jet airplane engines and were employing a miniature pilotless drone-like-bombing-
plane called the V-1 Rocket and then were producing & employing an actual ballistic missile called the V-2 rocket, which were crashing down massive destruction upon London in far more terror than the earlier Luftwaffe bombers in the worst of the Battle of Britain. And they were working on EVEN MORE: Super planes and super missiles that could reach all over the world!!

To stop them, the US just absolutely HAD to get into this war, but the isolationist people here absolutely did not want to — especially (after the horrific debacle of World War I) NOT another European war!! The ONLY way that they would be able to even think about doing that would have to be “through the back door,” and going “through the back door” meant deliberately provoking Japan to bite and manipulating it so that the “bite” would be very hard and then emotionally screaming: “DAY OF INFAMY!!”
