Ophthalmologist Dr. David Smadja of Shaare Zedek Medical Center and Bar-Ilan University has patented “nanodrops” to correct short and long-sightedness in pigs, Jerusalem Post reported. Human tests are due later this year.
Developed at Bar-Ilan University’s Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, the drops may eliminate the need for glasses and expensive multifocal lenses.
Interacting with a pattern laser-stamped onto the corneas, the drops utilize synthetic nanoparticles to produce perfect vision.

Aha. And what’s the sheichus of experiments done with pigs, with the effects on a human being?
Pigs are biologically similar to humans. It is common for the medical and drug industry to use them in the course of getting approval for human use. It’s been done for centuries.
Tests s t a r t on animals, and if treatment is safe and effective, then it goes to human subjects. Standard stuff.
have you ever seen a pig with glasses?
how do they eye-test chazeirim, with an ABC chart?
Ha, good point.
