R involving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are “an earthquake” in Israeli politics, Labour party MK Nachman Shai said as the charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust were endorsed by police on Tuesday.

Yair Lapid, the Chairman of the opposition Yesh Atid party, called for Prime Minister Netanyahu to step down following recommendations from Israeli police to prosecutors in two corruption cases.

“Even if he is not technically obliged to resign under Israeli law, a person facing such heavy accusations cannot continue to serve as Prime Minister, and be responsible for the security and well-being of Israeli citizens,” he added.

  1. Ridiculous charges. The PM didn’t in any way enhance his bank accounts or assets. Sounds ludicrous. Imagine indicting a President for enjoying a all paid for ice cream cake from a wealthy friend. That’s the current charges. Typical left wing propaganda

  2. An indictment means nothing other than that a crime might have been committed. Only one side presents a case. There is no defense. Any prosecutor who cannot get an indictment of a dead horse is an incompetent prosecutor.

The Israeli left, prosecutors and self-appointed anti-Israel judges are no better – perhaps worse – than in the US. Prime Minister Netanyahu has become too close to their evil President Trump, making Netanyahu a danger to Israel.
