Israeli Police investigators recently discovered that an ISIS terrorist from the West Bank was responsible for the 2019 murders of an elderly couple, Yehuda and Tamar Kaduri, in Yerushalayim’s Armon Haneztiv neighborhood.

At the time, the police arrested the couple’s oldest son and his wife as suspects in the crime. Nitai Kaduri spoke of how he was jailed for 17 days during his interrogation while still mourning his parents’ deaths.

“It was a churban, a tragedy upon a tragedy,” he recalled. “You are sitting shivah inside a prison cell. They demanded, ‘Give us something. Say something.’ Life never returned to what it was.”

He and his wife, Brocha, were forced to leave their children at home as they were led off in shackles, which left bruises on their arms and legs for weeks.

“They humiliated us from the first moment,” Nitai recalled. “I told the investigator during the first few hours that I felt a little dizzy…. I asked for a glass of water. The investigator gave me a dirty cup from the garbage with coffee grounds.”

“I was with a small nursing baby,” his wife said. “I tearfully begged that the child was hungry and I had to nurse him. But they told me, ‘Nurse him right here.’ I told them, ‘I am a religious woman. I cannot nurse him here.’ The baby was screaming, and they wouldn’t let me nurse him.”

Brocha Kaduri related how their children tearfully asked her, “Ima, where is Abba? Did he really do it?”

The family plans to sue the police for the persecution.

  1. I hope they succeed in a massive way. The police aren’t Chareidim very cruelly. To be accused by the Israeli police puts the onus upon you to prove your innocence and you’re considered guilty from the time of interest.

    • How about you being arrested in Israel to prove your innocence after being tortured and beaten almost to death by the Shin-Daled to admit a crime you never committed?
