Former President Donald Trump personally engaged in a criminal conspiracy to defraud the very nation he led and then obstructed an official proceeding of Congress, the Jan. 6 Committee argued in a legal brief tonight, The Daily Beast reports.
Although its year-long investigation isn’t over, the House panel investigating the Jan.6 insurrection revealed its most extensive conclusions yet against the former president in court filings released tonight, documenting how Trump allegedly engaged in illegal behavior to try and stay in power.
“Evidence and information available to the committee establishes a good-faith belief that Mr. Trump and others may have engaged in criminal and/or fraudulent acts, and that [Eastman’s] legal assistance was used in furtherance of those activities,” the committee said in the filing.

How do you know that it is sheker? Don’t believe everything that you wish is true. I don’t care for Biden or his left wing agenda, and voted for Trump twice, but he did lose the election, and the Republicans should move forward to win the midterms rather than focusing on the last election.

Read the wording. Belief. This committee decided that before a single hearing was held, without having procured or read any documents. These same Dems y”sh impeached Trump on fictional grounds, the Russia hoax, later proven to have been the handiwork of Hillary and her co-conspirators. I would not ask any of these rogues for the weather or the time. If justice ever reigns, there will be a prison full of these decrepit Democrat politicians.
I hate Trump but the January 6th commission has the credibility of a lynch mob. Did anyone think there was any chance they would come to another conclusion?
The Watergate commission made a point of including Nixon supporters and not including any members who were long term passionate Nixon enemies . The January 6th commission made a point of ONLY including long term passionate Trump enemies. What is their “findings” and word worth?
Of course, that is what they found. They are trying to prevent President Trump from running in 2024. They did not let people like Jim Jordan participate on this committee. As soon as they wrote “…the Jan.6 insurrection…”, I knew it was fake news. Jan. 6th was, at most, a riot; it was certainly not an “insurrection”, as everyone knows.

They already said this before the commission was in existence. Having read the great evidence the commission came up with it basically boils down to saying that the belief that Trump had a legal way to stay in office is a criminal belief and activity.
To put things in perspective however back in 2016 January 6th commission member Jamie Raskin also tried to figure out a legal way to prevent Trump from becoming president and refused to certify his election results. But whatever …
