A suspect involved in a prolonged firefight in Jersey City, N.J., that left six people dead, including one police officer, had published anti-Semitic and anti-police posts online and investigators believe the attack was motivated by those sentiments, a law enforcement official familiar with the case said today, the NY Times reports.

The attack claimed the lives of two frum Yidden.

The law enforcement official could not provide more details about the suspect’s online posts or where they had been published. He said that investigators were still reviewing that information.

So far, the authorities have not identified the shooters, who were killed in the firefight.

The Jersey City mayor said surveillance footage indicated that the two shooters had targeted the JC kosher supermarket where most of the carnage unfolded.

  1. This so-called Jewish Mayor has said negative things about the Chassidim moving in and their desire to build a Shul in the past. In his rush to make it look as if he’s indifferent to the Frum community, he has perhaps poisoned the minds of those that don’t need much of an excuse to hate us already. I don’t like or trust Mayor Fulop.

  2. Moronic state of NJ doesn’t issue concealed carry permits to the law abiding citizens, which doesn’t stop the criminals from being armed. However, NJ does issue permits to keep firearms at your home and business. Apply now; the process takes about 5-6 months; spend a few hours at the range. All Jewish homes and business should be armed. We could only hope that shuls and yeshivos are armed too.

Yes, apply now because when the Demo crats reshayim take control of our country they’ll confiscate guns, wipe out the Constitution and destroy our country beyond repair.
