Prominent podcast host Joe Rogan presented a challenge worth $100,000 to Dr. Peter Hotez, following Hotez’s criticism of Rogan for featuring Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his show and allowing him to spread what Hotez deemed as “misinformation.”
Hotez called out Rogan for granting Kennedy a platform on The Joe Rogan Experience, where Kennedy expressed his views on the COVID-19 vaccine and vaccination in general. Kennedy reiterated a story about an autistic child that altered his perspective on vaccines, suggested that comedians questioning vaccines were silenced by the media, and elaborated on how pharmaceutical companies profited from vaccine distribution.
After the episode aired, Hotez tweeted, “Spotify Has Stopped Even Sort of Trying to Stem Joe Rogan’s Vaccine Misinformation. It’s really true… just awful. And from all the online attacks I’m receiving after this absurd podcast, it’s clear many actually believe this nonsense.”
In response, Rogan offered a challenge to Hotez, stating, “Peter, if you claim what RFK Jr is saying is ‘misinformation’ I am offering you $100,000.00 to the charity of your choice if you’re willing to debate him on my show with no time limit.”
While Hotez expressed his willingness to speak with Rogan, the podcast host and UFC commentator swiftly dismissed the vaccine expert’s conciliatory approach. Hotez’s now-deleted tweet, as recounted by Rogan, stated, “Be serious Joe, that’s what you throw out for your hunting buddies on a weekend.”
Rogan proposed, “A $50 million endowment (which You/Spotify/RFK Jr can easily afford), not for me but so we can continue making low-cost patent-free vaccines for the world’s poor. Preceded by RFK Jr’s public apology.”
Hotez tweeted, “Joe, you have my cell, my email, I’m always willing to speak with you,” to which Rogan responded, “This is a non-answer. I challenged you publicly because you publicly quote tweeted and agreed with that …. article. If you’re really serious about what you stand for, you now have a massive opportunity for a debate that will reach the largest audience a discussion like this has ever had. If you think someone else is better qualified, suggest that person.”
While Hotez did not provide a definitive response, he shared several vaccine statistics and expressed his willingness to come on Rogan’s show to address the situation, emphasizing his respect for Rogan and his program.
Rogan clarified the nature of Hotez’s offer, informing his audience, “To those misunderstanding what he’s saying, he’s NOT agreeing to debate @RobertKennedyJr. He’s just offering to come on my show by himself.”
The online feud has extended over two days, with various celebrities and online personalities joining the discussion. Elon Musk responded to Rogan, claiming, “He’s afraid of a public debate because he knows he’s wrong.”
Meanwhile, Mark Cuban opposed Rogan’s challenge, criticizing the podcast host and stating, “You aren’t trying to find the ground truth on vaccines. If you were, you would bring on someone who focused on debating the issue… Trying to bully Dr. Hotez is ridiculous.”

Peter Hotez Harasha has been spreading lies from the beginning. For example, he advocated in May 2021 for vaccinating children to achieve herd immunity. His narrative was uncritically pushed by the mainstream media. Millions of children were harmed because of him.

The problem is that until April 2020, he was claiming the opposite. Back then, Hotez expressed his concerns about a potential vaccine for the seasonal cold virus. But how did it come to pass that he suddenly changed his opinion and labeled all critics as anti-science?
Here too, the “follow the money” principle applies. It appears that Peter Hotez is a conscienceless mouthpiece, who will do anything for money. In this case, he received funds from the
Gates Foundation. I doubt that these were the only financial contributions he received.
Therefore, it’s unsurprising that he rejects the current 1.5 million-dollar bid and refuses to debate with
Robert Kennedy Jr. That’s because
