Jonathan Pollard’s lawyer, Larry Dub, sent a letter to Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir asking for his help in obtaining a handgun license for Pollard, after his previous requests were denied, Arutz Sheva reports.
“Several months ago, on behalf of my client, we submitted an application for a private firearms license intended to protect the personal safety of my client, who is known as a well-known personality in Israel and who often visits Judea and Samaria as part of his activities to strengthen Jewish settlement in the Land of Israel. As you know, my client’s request was denied by the Firearms Division of the Ministry of Internal Security and therefore we turned to you for help, and we even held a meeting with you on the matter even before you assumed the position of minister in the current government,” the letter reads.
Dub adds, “Our hope was that you would keep your promise to help Mr. Pollard soon after you took the position of Minister of National Security in the Israeli government, which unfortunately has not yet been fulfilled to this day. At the same time, I am confident that you intend to fulfill this commitment as soon as possible. I will therefore request your immediate intervention for the purpose of approving my client’s request for a firearms license without any delay,” concludes Dub.
Ben Gvir sounds like the guy that Jewish Israel needs at the helm. The more I read about him, the more I go for him.
Nebach. Live in peace and quiet. No need to draw attention to yourself.
If sit back and do nothing was in his blood, he wouldn’t be who he is. How in good grace can you advise someone to live out the rest of their life not being who they are!? Especially after so much of his time was wrongfully stolen from him.
