Jordan Foils IS Plot To Attack Israeli Businessmen And US Embassy

Jordanian security forces foiled a plot by an Islamic State-affiliated terrorist cell to attack Western and Jordanian targets in the capital Amman including the US embassy and visiting Israeli businessmen, the country’s Al Rai newspaper revealed Tuesday.

The newspaper said that the cell was busted last November, and that security forces arrested 17 members of the cell before the planned attacks could be realized.
