Jordan has decided not to participate in a high-profile joint project with Israel and the Palestinian Authority to dig a canal connecting the Red Sea and the Dead Sea, public broadcaster Kan reported Thursday.
According to anonymous sources, Amman decided to end the joint pipeline project, assessing that there was “no real desire on the part of the Israelis” for the plan, which had stagnated for several years, and not progressed forward.
According to Kan, Jordan would now focus on an internal project of pumping water from the Red Sea and desalinating it at a plant in the Gulf of Aqaba.
However, even if donors are found to fund this internal water supply project, its construction could take five or six years, and the kingdom will have to continue to purchase some 50 million cubic meters of water from Israel per year, provided as part of the 1994 peace agreement between the two countries.
The Red Sea-Dead Sea Canal project, which enjoyed the enthusiastic backing of former president Shimon Peres, has long been delayed by bureaucratic hurdles, funding difficulties, and environmental objections. Recently, Israel’s lack of a functioning government for the last two years and diplomatic relations with Jordan at one of their lowest ebbs has meant the project has been further relegated.

Basically Israeli stupid bloated bureaucracy strikes once again . Israel would have had the vaccine months before Pfizer, but Israeli bureaucracy got in the way; the gas field would have been developed and made fully functional years except Israeli bureaucracy got in the way.
Of course, stupid bloated inept government bureaucracy preventing anything from getting done is USUALLY a pretty bad thing. Of course though, that is only when the thing they were trying to do was a GOOD thing; then it getting messed up and stopped by wasteful bureaucracy is very sad and terrible. Like here, the construction of a good waterway, which would have greatly benefited numerous people.
However, if the thing they were planning was a BAD thing, then, on the contrary, IT IS GOOD that it got messed up and stopped!! For example, the massive giving out of the severely dangerous-blood-clotting-hyper-poisons of the Covid so-called “vaccines” was quite a terrible thing, in both Eretz Yisroel and numerous other parts of the world — AND COUNTLESS TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY DIED SOON AFTER TAKING IT!! That the Israeli government’s bureaucracy delayed its coming for a few months, that was something to be thankful for!! For the people who, very tragically, were later killed by it, at least had their day-of-murder delayed for a few months.
