A federal judge ruled against a conservative group demanding an expedited release of Hillary Clinton emails Friday.
In response to Judicial Watch’s filing, Judge Amit Mehta ruled that releasing the former secretary of state’s emails related to the 2012 consulate attack in Benghazi ahead of schedule would be “unwise and potentially risky.” Instead, Mehta said the best option is to “to keep this on course” of the already-promised release timeline.
